    Certification Agencies:
    BSAC, SSI & PADI
    Dive History:
I started diving in 1962 as a 15 year old (after watching Mike Nelson) with the BSAC as that was the obvious choice in the UK at that time.
Retired from teaching scuba in 2014 at that time I was a BSAC Advanced Instructor, a SSI Dive Control Specialist Instructor, during my career I also got as far as a PADI Divemaster.
I was also a ANDI Nitrox Instructor.
Bought my first Dive Store in 1986 opened a Dive School in 1992 and finished in 2014.
Still dive for pleasure with my family.
    Certification History:
Started with the BSAC in 1962, gained my first level instructor in 1984 and Advanced Instructor in 1989.
In 1996 qualified for my PADI Divemaster.
Crossed over to SSI in 2000 as a DCSI with a few Specialties adding to my CV other Specialities and finally gaining my Shark Diver and Full Face Mask Specialities (which I wrote my own programme for) before retiring in 2014.
    Certification Level:
    BSAC AI and SSI DCSI
    # of Logged Dives:
    2,500 - 4,999
    Dive Classification:
Instructor / Assistant Instructor / Dive Master / Dive Con
    Years Certified:
    Ten Or More Years
    Dive Equipment:
My normal diving main items are a Dacor reg with a SeacSub Pro 2000 BC, on my Pony I have my old reliable USD Conshelf reg. (Which I trust at any depth).
Occasionally I dive with my Dacor Hub.
On my FFM I have a Poseidon reg only because the Poseidon and the Divator work well together.
The remainder of my kit is standard stuff except fins, I have a very heavy pair of rubber fins for drysuit diving because they keep my feet down. I have a pair of plastic fins when I get a chance to dive in a wetsuit.
