On this treasure-hunting research business trip summit meeting to the Keys, my buddy Mario snapped this pic of me and my largest sculpture, Big Betsey, the Mother-of-All-Bugs, when she was still on display at the old Treasure Village Mall at the historic Art McKee Treasure Castle mm 86.5 on Plantation Key. This is where I installed her in 1992. Since then, the current owners have moved her across "the road" ( Overseas Hwy. US 1 ) to her current location at the Rain Barrel Artists Village. Prior to the move they had her completely repainted by the Lowest Bidder. So much for respect to living artists.
