This was an Atlantic Stingray I was filming laying near the bottom of Frying Pan Shoals Tower (FPSN Tower!). He got sick of me filming him, and took off. This image is frozen from video, and captures the moment he lifted off with sand falling from his pectorals. I always liked this shot.
