On the safety stop beneath the dive boat, at the south end of Klein Bonaire, were a fleet of 10 or so squid keeping watch in about 20 feet of water. They let me get really close - much more so than other squids I encounter during the daytime
That's a great shot! It looks to be a relative of the squid call a cuttlefish. These are insanely intelligent fish. They capable of high level problem solving and can tell colors apart.
