I found this specimen embedded in a loose matrix with the whole mess sitting on a silty ledge at about 160FFW. It was located about 200ft north of the eastern descent line. The crystals are probably gypsum, though I will be taking it to a geologist for confirmation. Doing my decompression and gas switches while holding this gingerly in my hand was pretty challenging.
