I ran across the old Nekton Pilot and Rorqual on the intracoastal waterway in north Florida. They are still sitting int he boatyard where they used to be maintained.
Lots of fond memories of the Nektons. It’s a shame the way they ended up. Probably a costly design to maintain but a nice dive platform. It is amazing the way so many didn’t care for the Nekton because of it’s looks, granted they weren’t sleek or much to look at but as far as functionality as a dive boat they were great.
