Mimic Octopus - Kata Beach, Phuket, Thailand

Holed-in Mimic Octopus (Thaumoctopus mimicus)
Phuket's Kata Beach (Thailand) is home to a small colony of mimic octopuses, a species rarely encountered outside Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
Extending two arms from a hole is said to mimic Banded Sea Krait sea snakes.
