A Giant kelpfish (Heterostichus rostratus) eyeballs me with suspicion at about 40' deep off Casino Point. These shy, elusive fish are usually unwilling to hold still long enough for me to take a decent picture of them. Guess today was my lucky day. Photo taken at Avalon, CA, Sep. 2004.
