A Garibaldi (the California state fish) eyeballs me at about 30' deep. In a few months, getting this close to him or his nest would probably result in being attacked, no matter how much bigger than him the diver may be. Photo taken at Isthmus Reef, Catalina Island, CA, April 2005.
