Skull
Skull of Japanese Sailor embedded in hull of wreck Truk Lagoon
i think before public dive all human remain should be collected and removed away from the dive site

I think this is from the Yamagiri Maru. I saw this skull near the engine room at about 90 feet down. The Yamagiri was a ship that carried the huge 18" shells that were used by the Japanese superbattleship Yamato. It was a real shocker after our guide led us through a small opening in the engine room and shone his light on the bulkhead where the skull was. Wow! It was definitely one of the most memorable dives in Truk.

WOW!! Truk is on my bucket list. I love when a site combines my 2 favorite interest. History and diving. I just found scubaboard yesterday and i gotta say thanks to all the contributors of this site. Im finding it both informative and entertaining.
