Habitat: Over Reefs
Typical food: omnivorous but ingests more plant material (grazes on benthic algae) than planktonic animals (pteropods, crab larvae, siphonophores, salps)
Other information: shy and if frightened they wedge into a crevice or hole for safety and use their "trigger" (stout head spine and second smaller spine which moves forward and locks the first one vertically to the rock).
