The Bluespotted Ribbontail Ray are nocturnal feeders , feeding on molluscs, polychaete worms, shrimps, crabs, and small benthic fishes. They have highly developed electromagnetic sensors and lateral lines which allow them to detect their prey hidden in the sand.
