If I didn't have any transmitters, it would be a no-brainer. But I'm not keen to replace 3 or 4.The Swift tech is cool. If it was the same price as the older transmitters, and if it was as easy to change the battery, it would be a no-brainer.

On the DGX Swift page they have this:
"Effective July 2021, Shearwater has announced a new wireless transmitter named the SWIFT that will replace their previous generation Pelagic OEM transmitter." So sounds like the Shearwater branded PPS transmitter is going away.
Meanwhile, and thereafter, the PPS transmitters will still be available, as used by Oceanic, Tusa, Sherwood, etc. At the going used price of about half of what the SWIFT costs, and a repair price of $120 from Huish, there will be a market for them for some time to come.I talked with some of the folks over there that I know. Once they have sold through their inventory there will be no more PPS transmitters brought in by Shearwater. To my understanding they are sold out of the PPS Yellow Transmitters already. They still have some of the standard (gray) PPS available but once they are sold it will only be the SWIFT transmitters.
Hi, Bonz. Sorry about that. Can you try manually reloading your splash screen again? Sometimes splash screens get overwritten during firmware updates.
Cheers
Customisable center-center item instead of PPO2-or-nothing: nice!
