Well, from a technician point of view, I would prefer to service the D420. At least I don’t have to worry about not tearing the diaphragm cover when removing it or hoping the poppet spring hasn’t worn out.

Having "serviced" both myself I'd agree the D420 is way way easier.

Can't say I notice any real increase in performance of the G260 over the G250V, granted the micro adjuster gives more control over tuning allowing for a finer touch and the smaller form factor is nice but if someone already owns a G250/V I'd find it hard to recommend one unless they wanted new and had money burning a hole, if they are expecting a noticeable performance increase disappointment may ensue.
Same(micro adjuster) for Apeks 2nd stage.

As does some of Aqualung regs. Probably others too, but I can’t speak for them, only Aqualung, Scubapro, and Apeks.

On a good day I think my IQ might hit room temp in centigrade. I used to believe I was crazy genius, now I've realized I'm just plain crazy.
At worst you are just a "super market trolley" i.e mind of your own.

Could a supermarket trolly do this? $8 an hour, living the dream lol... but of course infinitely better than 0 per hour.

$8 is better than nothing. So you are not crazy.
$8 = HK$60.00, plenty of willing people in HK especially the unemployment is relatively high at the moment.
There will be a long queue in Philippines for that kind money.
