Ursuit softdura or Santi Elite for cave diving

Hi,

I'm thinking about a new dry suit...I really like Softdura material and suit from Ursuit, however an option is also Elite of Santi.

Did anyone compare the two? Or is there any other Santi suit that is similar to Softdura.

I want it for cave diving, but I like the ruggedness of Softdura which can be packaged in a light and small package for carrying long into caves.

Can anyone recommend of the same characteristics a Santi one, or review Elite in the same sense?

A friend of mine that has the Ursuit Softdura looked at my Seaskin Nova and said that it looked to him like the same material as the Softdura.

I've had mine for 2 years and done a decent amount of wreck diving in it, but no caves. Mine still looks like new.

The Seaskin is made to measure. I got mine with just about every option they offer and it was right around USD$1100. Later, I got one of their compressed neoprene suits. I got fewer options and it was about USD$850. Both suits fit me perfectly.

I don’t mind paying 20-40% more for a better or name brand option. But 300%? Tough to swallow. At least check out seaskin before you commit. So many of us on here are happy with our purchase. I bought a neoprene suit which matches my diving type well. Only cost 650 bucks and I’m extremely happy with it.

I just ordered my wife a seaskin after seeing @stuartv's detailed review and many positive comments from other divers. Her second hand whites is just too bulky and I managed to patch some leaks after I bought it for her 3 years ago for $800. The inner core and thin neoprene outer shell may seem tough, but it just doesn't suit her needs as she spend 15 mins to put that **** on, with my help every single time, and already exhausted. It still serve the purpose but at this point we are just tired of the bulkiness of that suit. I am very excited to for the seaskin suit and will definitely post a review. In the meanwhile, I will still dive my waterproof ex2 (I got a super good deal on it) and will buy myself a seaskin later on. I opted slaggo ring system for her suit so our dry gloves system are inter-changeable ( Ultima and sitech quick dry gloves). Sitech has released 3 new dry gloves system for slaggo ring and I will install LIANA on her seaskin. Definitely look forward to it.
