Now that Cozumel has outlawed single-use plastic bags, what are dog owners going to use to pick up after their pets? Are they going to be required to employ re-usable bags that they wash out?

Are condoms going to be outlawed as well? I have seen more of those on the beach than plastic straws.

There’s your next business opportunity!

in the states, bags are fewer and fewer as well, but the produce bags will remain. Those will do the job of a pooper scooper.

I get mine at a dollar store. Come on a little roller. I could smuggle some in for ya.

I work at a folding carton manufacturer. We are currently working on a recyclable "Pooper Scooper".

Made of recycled board, comes in two sizes. It's like a cardboard "claw" that you use to pick up Fido's droppings. Then toss the whole thing in the trash. 100% biodegradable.

We'll see how successful this new business is.

How's that going to work with the runny poo?

If it is truly recyclable, maybe a company should start collecting the tons of used toilet paper from all the baskets in Mexican bathrooms.

I remember when we had to change from paper to plastic bags in order to "save the trees". How the pendulum swings!

now if they would just outlaw single-use plastic people. oops, there goes the cruise industry.

I don't have a dog. One thing I don't need to worry about.

This thread is about dog poo?
