Farewell PastoDeco

Récemment, Antoine Pastorelli, plongeur technique en recycleur et fondateur du logiciel de décompression "PastoDeco", est décédé lors d'une plongée dans le sud de la France. Les fonds seront versés à sa maman et serviront pour le rapatriment vers son village natal en Italie.

Recently, Antonio Pastorelli, technical CCR diver and "PastoDeco" decompression software founder, died during a dive in south France. All collected funds will serve to help his mum and take him back to his Italian natal village.

Rebreather fatality Data Base indicates he was diving with a prototype controller of his own design which he was developing for ''another'' manufacturer...

The Data Base goes back ''many decades''...it's a frightening review...and none of our prized toys seem to be immuned...

That database is full of inaccuracies, false assumptions, outright lies, and is primarily a marketing tool by a certain rebreather manufacturer to try and sell units based on the idea that all other units are a death trap ("see, we have a list!") and theirs is the only one that's safe.

It's a pox on the diving world and both people associate with that company deserve to die in a dumpster fire.
