use a drill to lengthen the slots on your BP !

If you don't have a drill, ask a local machine shop if mechanic to do it for you. Just measure how much extra you need first.
That would be my though as well - if the slots aren't right, get them altered. DIY is free but even at a machine shop it should be next to nothing as it will only be a few minutes of their time.

We live in Bali and dive frequently in Raja Ampat. Just got back from a trip and have another one in a few weeks, during which time I have to get a new wing as I pinched the Deep See Supply one resulting in a leak (dove 10 days with this leak! But I do not wish to repeat that little exercise!).

If you have an LCD wing you can unzip the zipper on the top arc of the wing pull out the wing and patch it. If it is a small leak you can try aqua seal or something a local dive shop may have. If you have the Torus wing then it is more complicated. You would need to use a seam ripper to open the stitching to get at the inner bladder, patch it, and then have someone sew it up being careful not to puncture the wing again with the needle.

It would be best for DSS to make the repair but for the cost of the repair, shipping, and any customs duty you may need to pay it may not be worth it.

Exactly. Not to mention I need it by April 7 latest for our next trip. It is a torus wing.

From what I saw the newer Apeks wings look nice. They remind me of the Oxycheq wing. Stay away from the older Apeks wings, they are single-bladder and too big and floppy. I have one, the only good thing I can say about it is that it packs up small for travel. The Mares wings are also a narrow wing if you can find one in your area. They are usually less expensive than Apeks.

I've recently been culling my gear and have reduced it to items that either use generic parts or share the same parts. Wings with generic parts, one type of first stage and second stages that share the same parts. It's made my life so much simpler, I now sleep better at night and can actually swing a cat in my dive "room".

The seaQuest style dump valve isn't that hard to find though. The price could certainly be better, but haggling with the LDS can fix that. No reason you have to pay MSRP.

Perhaps, but you can't swap it out for the excellent OPV from DSS.
