What are some ideas for Christmas gifts for divers? Give us some ideas that are for higher budgets (couple hundred dollars or higher) and something for people with lower budgets.

Higher budget:
Chartplotter Bundle (chartplotter + Navionics+ chip). Many chartplotters come as a bundle with a Nav+ chip (Lowrance, Raymarine, Humminbird and more)
Price range a few hundred dollars and up. Advantage: save hundreds of dollars by bundling

Lower budget:
Navionics app for phone or tablet. Price range $9.99 - ~$60

I suggest these because I have used them a LOT and love them. Give us some gift ideas that you've used and loved.

My kids get give me a shop gift card of $50 for Christmas and birthday. Comes in handy. I'd rather they not spend any money on me, but since they insist, it's practical since I need fills, yearly visuals, repairs, etc.

Higher end:

Bottom timer (330m, something like that as a backup)
Pony bottle
Anything with a ZipSeal or letter H on it
SOLA dive light (or any sort of dive light that would function as a decent backup or save-a-dive light)
And everybody could use a Perdix or two

Lower end:

Trilobite cutter
DSMB
Full SS bolt snaps
O-ring kit
Dive tools
Shock cord
Defog

It's tough for non-divers to buy gifts for divers without knowing their kit. Feel 'em out or just straight up ask. I want a doubles wing and manifold. I'm not getting it, but it's nice my wife asked before telling me "f--- no!"

Or you could get the gift that saves lives....

Nitrox SpareAir

I love the dive light idea as well as the more budget friendly options listed here, especially the trilobite, DSMB, and bolt snaps. I just got Mr. OOO some double ended bolt snaps as a stocking stuffer.

If your diver has a tank transmitter, getting a hose for that to minimize the likelihood of it snapping off the 1st stage is also another good idea - I also got that for him. :) Some other ideas:

- new dive computer
- mesh rolling bag or backpack
- dive travel bag
- tank light for night dives
- compass
- extra set of spring straps or their 1st pair!
- dive light (primary or secondary)
- something from yourbagtag - gear tags, wetsuit zipper pull IDs, etc.

if they are into underwater photography, there opens another can of worms... :)

High end: Dive trip

Low end: bolt snaps, spools, booties (the last thing most divers think to replace on their own), knifes and lights

UltraViolet dive light for night dives

Fish or Nudibranchs ID book

Custom pattern diveskin or terrapin wetsuit

Cvs no damage hair bands and spray detangler plus large tooth comb and the neoprene mask strap cover

Dive socks
Scuba-do-rag
Environmentally friendly sunscreen (Sea2Stream)
Our LDS had a flash drive that looks like a dive flag and a mouse pad too
Rash guards
Dive jewelry - charms are nice

None of those are expensive - well, the jewelry could get expensive I suppose.

I have a GREAT gift idea:

Send me cash in the form of $, check, money order. Paypal is also accepted. PM me for details. :)

Cheers - M²

About jewlery, specifically a necklace / amulet:

...looking, but I did not find one yet and am looking for help, here:

Scuba necklace or amulet for necklace

My kids get a trip to Bonne Terre... My wife would too, but she's not (yet) up to it, ... so...
