The blue webbing on mine is beginning to fray. Most of my newer gear has red accents, so it's almost time for red webbing for me too.

The freedom plate? Still gorgeous and making people drool.

I've got a little over 900 dives on my Freedom Plate and it still looks like it came off Eric's bench yesterday. All I've done is rinse it after each dive day.
"Over 900 dives" Holy crap Phil I'm jealous! Has it been that long.
I remember that day in Vet's parking lot when you got it, Merry got that plate for you on the sly and I got caught in the middle as we were trying to hide it from you because it was supposed to be a gift, LOL. And, Oh well, happy birthday Phil.

When I get down there again to visit Jon we all need to dive, you and Merry and the crew, we're way over due.
The good old days, we can't let them die.

Yeah, Jon and Merry were trying to pull a fast one. I used to have to tow her on surface swims until she replaced her parachute of a BC with one of your racing plates. I needed one of my own just to keep up with her.

looks like you have already sold 3! :d

jim. Love the red webbing. May have to give that i try next time.

how much would one cost - if you could buy them?

still holding out hope that one somehow is produced in a stretched configuration to fit a long torso of a tall individual.......

Absolutely! I well might have the only Freedom Plate in this area (central Missouri down to northern Arkansas). My Freedom Plate always draws admirers and compliments. I raved about mine initially (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/ge...te-first-dive.html?highlight=Freedom+rx7diver), and I'm still raving! I would show a more recent photo of it, but, honestly, it looks now exactly as it did when I purchased it—except it now wears beautiful, blue webbing and, occasionally, a VDH-modified U.S. Divers DA Aqua Master double hose regulator.

I would urge anyone interested, to cajole, bribe, do anything he/she can to convince Eric to make one for him/her!

Safe Diving,

Ronald
