We may have to dive with someone else this trip, and it is going to be a bear picking from all these operators.
we have been with the same company since 08, we like staying with what works
But things are changing with our old go to.

Are you on the island now? What's happening? Looks overcast and breezy...?

Overcast and breezy is an understatement! It's a full on norte!!! Ports are closed and probably will be for the weekend!

I really do try to avoid being negative. Sorry it went bad.

We arrive tomorow and will be there all week. Just so happens my birthday is Friday Wohooo
Planed on diving weekdays to hopefully get with smaller groups

Man looking at all the options makes my head spin off
This is supposed to be no stress time.

Just have to see how it goes
We mainly stuck with the same crew because we liked our DM.

Just the reality - it's highly unlikely that anyone will be diving tomorrow or Sunday - except with Aldora on the East side if conditions allow them to.

Monday and Tuesday look ok, but then we have another norte forecast to blow in Tuesday night or Wednesday morning - it's going to be a hit and miss week of diving I am afraid :(

And actually - your thought of weekday diving = smaller groups - actually works the opposite. Weekends are transition days with most people flying in and out on the weekends so those are non dive days for many. THen we also have less cruise ships. The shop you usually dive with (according to previous posts) caters to a lot of cruise ship divers - so they are typically busier during the week than on the weekend.

BUT - if you don't already have some dives reserved with another op - good luck switching - I know I am completely full for the week and I believe the others mentioned are as well - except Aldora because they have more capacity :)

If you dive with a small boat op, you don't have to worry about large groups on any day of the week :D

We will make the best of it, a good day in dallas cant hold a candle to any day in Coz

www.buoyweather.com is where I get mone! It's completely accurate 99% of the time - and of course changes daily and hour to hour sometimes.

You need a membership to view more than 2 days out - same with Wind guru

windguru gave us a full week when we were there, no membership
