Hi Guys. I'm still saving up on a proper lighted camera setup. Meanwhile, I'd like to take pictures in shallow sites where there is a good amount of natural lighting. Any suggestions aside from moalboal? :D

Thanks Centrals. Any specific dive site in Anilao you can recommend?

The best one is Mapating cave which is about 45m deep.
There are enough old posts on Anilao here.

Thanks for the Mapating Cave suggestion Centrals. Really appreciate that.

Now, I have more ammunition to convince my friends to finally take their OW course so I'll have some to share the cost of diving in Anilao. :)

there is also an island called siquior,...good diving and quite a few dive site....not heavily touristed, and you can find some good accommodation...quieter than most places...
theres also cumaguin island off north mindanao, very nice......again,not too touristy and some good sites...
so many places in the philippines.....
malapascua where they have the thresher sharks and lots of muck diving.....so many sites...quite touristy though....

is anilao near cabilao ,west bohol?

No, Anilao is in Batangas on the Island of Luzon, it is fairly close to Puerto Galera which is on the Island of Mindoro.

Cabilao is near Panglao---or Tagbilaran BOHOL...

Cheers,
Roger
