Is there an Alternate Oceanic Veo Wrist Mount?

The pins keep popping out of the stock wrist mounts (on the buckle), and I need a more secure mounting system.

(DSS does not make one for the VEO.)

Are you sure? It's the standard "hocky puck" size, and there are no buttons on the side which you need to access.

I have been looking around to replace my wrist mount on the 250. I think we may need to improvise a different mount. Let me know if you do find something..

Make a bungee mount out of your current boot.

This is what I did with my wife's Aeris XR-1 which is in a Veo 2.0 boot, not 100% finish at this point - the bungee cord isn't set to final length nor tied but you get the idea:

Thanks for the idea.

Did you just poke a hole with a soldering iron?

Have you used it enough to know if that lasts?

I used a hot nail but a soldering iron would work too - long as the tip isn't really big.

I can't speak to longevity but there is a fair amount of rubber surrounding the holes. I know I've read that others have done similar here - unfortunately I have no idea who.
