I'm a professional archaeologist and have my own company, which allows me the ability to take off and go diving. Unfortunately, when I go I also have to have internet access so I can keep in touch with my company and do work.

I work for the gubment. They better hurry up and pass a budget, i'm not very keen on getting paid in IOUs and having all my planned vacation time cancelled.

I now a project manager that allows me to travel the world. If there is an ocean nearby, I will try to find time to dive. In another 14 years, I will begin my two passions in life besides my family. Assisting on a dive boat on the Kona Coast to get wet and spending time as a volcanologist studying Kilauea.

Electrician. I work for a company that builds machines that makes carpet. I have been working for them for 18 years now. I really like working for them.

I've been in the vending business for almost 15 years. Everybody uses vending machines somehow someway. I started running a route, then became a route supervisor, then technician, then service manager and now operations manager. Looking forward to finding a way to work less and dive/surf more. Wish me luck!

I am a marine biologist, spent a lot of time working on the west coast of Canada in different capacities for a couple of universities when i got my B.Sc. two years ago. Then made the "smart" decision to continue into graduate school on the east coast of Canada. Currently, i make sure that lobster behave themselves.

By smart i mean intellectually, not financially :banghead:

If your lucky enough you do what you love to do best...dive. How many people can say they have a passion and a love for their work? Get up in the morning looking forward what the day brings?
Granted it's dangerous and no one who dive's for a living really can't say they have never been in a near death situation, but there's something you can't trade in life that people can only dream of. See you underwater!

I agree. My second job I have is only 4 hours per dive but its in the local aquarium here. I have to agree though its paradise!

Oh, I would love to volunteer at the Jenks aquarium. It's just too far away to make any commitment.
