I just don't log dives
I'm looking for a back inflate BC ( please no BP/W) with integrated weights that is a good travel size. This will only be used to dive warm tropical waters. I don't want to have to wear a weight belt. I normally have to load 16 pounds, so I'm wanting front load weight pockets only. Lastly, I'm wanting something that doesn't cost a fortune.

Does something like this exist? I was looking at the Zeagle line or maybe the Aqualung Zuma. I just don't know if Zeagle or Aqualung are good quality. Any opinions would be appreciated. :D

Both the Aqualung and the Zeagle are good BC's and they will last you long time with alittle care. the Zuma's are really light weight and easy to pack.

My father dives a Aqualung Zuma. He loves it. It rolls up nicely into a ball and gets stuffed into his suitcase. I did 6 dives with it and I liked that it was light weight, and has weight pockets. Overall I'd say its a nice travel BC.

Another vote for the Aqualung Zuma. A nice BC, very packable, integrated weights and light and if Aqualung were to eliminate the padding nothing else would come close.

You might also want to take a look at the Scubapro Litehawk. It comes standard with regular pockets which some people turn upside down to use as weight pockets, or you can add on weight integrated pockets. I haven't dive w/ it, but I've tried one on and found it very comfortable, and it was definitely packable.

The Zeagle Stiletto is a good travel BC. I just did a week in the Galapagos diving it.

A vote for the Zeagle here
I've been using mine since 93' and it's still going strong.
I did have one issue with it about a year and a half ago because the bladder went on it, with Zeagle's lifetime warranty they fixed it for no charge.

So I would say that a BC that lasted for 16 years with no problems and the company standing behind their product after that much time is GREAT quality.

Check into the Zeagle EXPRESS TECH. It is one of the smallest, lightest, packable, adjustable, customizable and usable BC's.

Check the this thread in this forum.

If you add 4 XS SCUBA weight pouches, some tri glides and D rings you are all set for about $300. Order it with a 35# wing and you can use it in cold water also.

The Deluxe model offers quick disconnect and adjustable straps on both chest and the waist strap, kind nice if you do not bend like you used to.

Diverite has their new Travelpac and Voyagerpac BC's that are what you're looking for. Fully compatible with the weight pockets. One is 30 the other is 40lbs of lift, respectively

I have the scubapro litehawk for pool use. The pockets don't hold much weight, I would say you could prolly fit 5 pounds of shot in each pocket. I wear a weight belt. I have seen the zuma and the quality and the finish is no where comparable to the litehawk,(I considered it for the pool) if I were to travel and dive alot to warm water I'd be pleased with it with the scubapro. If I only dove a little bit I'm sure the zuma would be fine. The only complaint I have with the scubapro is that it is a ridiculous 60 pounds of lift for the xs/sm. I can SIT on it as a raft in the pool
