Ok, just finished watching 'Outpost'.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outpost_(film)

Admittedly low budget, but good movie. (Disclaimer: My favourite movie is 'Big Trouble in Little China'.)

So, Nazi war bunker holds device for creating super soldiers.

Spoiler Alert!

These guys were, via Grand Unified Theory machine, altered. They died, but their identidies become encased in the local magnetic field. Very soldier like, that is the main part of them that survives, and animates the bodies. Intelligent enough for strategy, and still deadicated Nazis. (Couldn't resist!)

Here's the thing, brain shot does nothing. They don't bite, and apparently due to old ammo, are very stabby instead. They kill you, you die and stay dead. No re-animation for your dead fellow soldiers. Bullets don't really slow them.

So...how do you defend against non-zom....Ok, Ok, I know that's the politically incorrect, deadist term..the otherly-animated? If shooting doesn't kill them, what do you do?

I've only got a paper shredder and speaker phone to my left. Oh well.

But happen to have M1911 Colt Combat Commander on my right and an M4 bayonet in front of me.

Let's see. To my right is my wall gun rack with Winchester .30-30, H&R 12 gauge and Hawken .50. Below that, hanging on my bedpost in its Buscadero holster is a Ruger Blackhawk .45. To my left are my GI 1911 A-1 .45, Rossi .38 Special and High Point .380. Behind me, across the room is my wife's Rossi .38 Special and my English Broadsword. Under my computer desk is my knife collection, including a replica of the Roman dagger used to kill Julius Caesar.

And that's just here in my bedroom.

My sons each have their own collections.

Bring it on, Zombies. We could use some terget practice!:ar15:

It's sort of funny how different life is in Northern California. My "gun nut" friends only have a fraction of the arsenals that some of these posters have. I do have a few swords and whatnot though.
