A peeve but an important one - 20m is NOT 60ft!

Ok, can we vote now. Who thinks this thread now takes over as the absolute most useless waste of space on scubaboard? I'll cast the first "Aye" vote.

Is Scuba Goop sold by the ounce or mililiter?

I see this all the time and it drives me ****ing crazy - including in magazines that should know better. 200bar is not anything like 3000psi - it's 2900.7547 psi. A bar is 14.503774 psi, and is NOT 1 ATM but 0.98692327. After a serious dive those hundred.7547 extra psi in the tank matter a lot, especially if your bottom depth was 65ft and not 60ft.

I completely disagree. Had too much fun finding this thread after a bad work day. This is why i like this forum so much, you can really get valuable technical information and sooo much :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

Wait... You ask for what, 3kgs and expect 6.6lbs?

2 3's then shave the rest from a block of lead? :rofl3:

African or European?

Ni!

This is not my quote so whoever I stole it from, sorry.........

Worrying about 60 vs. 65 feet for on the fly dive math with everything else considered is like measuring a board with a micrometer, marking it with chalk and cutting it with an axe.

On the other hand I have found this thread entertaining, and I am sure that does not say anything good about me.

How does that 100 PSI matter in the slightest?

Unless you are diving with a BAR gauge and converting on the fly to PSI, it's a complete non-issue.

Blackwood, I think you missed the sarcasim of the post you responded to.

Here is a helpful guide for learning how to convert between imperial and metric, and fahrenheit and centigrade:

Excellent guide. I wish someone would make something similar for imperial units.

And I've learnt something new: that in America, the word "two" means "3" when it comes to litres :)
