Anybody having sea kitten tonight? I was going to make spaghetti, but now I've got a taste for kitten.

Me too...Just because of PETA I am having grilled salmon "sea kitten" drizzled in olive oil with salt pepper and a touch of lemon zest on a bed of risotto. MmMmMm....tasty tasty sea kittens...

Unfortunately though my kitty was raised in a sea kitten mill...its not a wild cat, so I didn't have a chance to catch this one.

Does anybody know what happened to the two PETA workers who were arrested for killing
dogs and cats back in 2005? They told animal shelters in North Carolina they would take them back to Virginia before to find the animals homes, but then euthanized them instead. Then they dumped the bodies in the same dumpster for four weeks in a row. Another example of "stupid criminals" I hope they got the same sentence that PETA wanted Michael Vick to get. That said he deserved everything he got and more. However I believe PETA defended them. I guess PETA decided they couldn't use there own employees criminal behavior to raise money for themselves.

Thanks Onespeed. Wait, all charges were eventually dropped. They weren't even convicted of littering. They still admitted killing around 70 animals. PETA likes to list their victories where animal abusers are arrested and punished, but they DEFENDED these two clowns.

I used to think PETA stood for People Eating Tasty Animals, but now I know it really stands for PETA Exterminates Thousands of Animals.

Dont know you guys, but it seems that if anyone was trying to make a point with the hopes of slowing down fishing. it would be a bit more helpful to the cause to debate a consequential problem associated with overfishing like the effects its having on our reefs by shaking up the delacate ballance of marine life on our reefs in some cases leading to an increase of algea over coral. it seems to only change a name of a creature to one simply associated with cute cuddlyness doesnt do much for educating and understanding but only perpetuating ignorance. all im saying is that to simply change a name will doubtfully change peoples behavior and interactions with anything.

I agree. If you want to have a debate, fine. Step 1 is to establish some credibility for your point of view. Calling fish "sea kittens" does not support this effort.

Anyone ever wonder, If every person ate only vegetables like Peta, and others suggest. How many species of animals would be made extinct due to habit loss cutting down forests for farm land. Not to mention the cows, pigs, and chickens that would run loose eatting all our veggies.
Of course then we would get PETV. Oranges bleed...stop the slaughter....... OPps sorry thats PETF.

Actually I don't have a cat. It would not be compatible with my other pets, all of which are aquatic and are tasty to cats.
