Now THAT'S funny... "Tony the Trout" cracked me up... one lousy fish dinner and your entire future is shot... you become a drooling class idiot... hey... wait a minute... fish aren't "kitties"... a kitten is a small furry mammal that doesn't even LIKE water (usually)... fish are... well... FISH!! PETA LIED TO ME!!!!

Ya' know... I LIKE *good* propoganda... I appreciate the art form... the creative eye... the persuasive disassociative metaphors... but... this isn't even good propoganda... either that or the overall mental level of civilization has sunk even lower than I though it had...

I don't care much for peta but I wouldn't call them nutjobs. More like misguided. They could be so much more effective if they were realistic. Campaign on the issues of mistreatment of animals, go after puppy mills, do something about overfishing and so called "bycatch" problems.

I bet that they were the same people in New Oleans. When we were pull bodies out of houses that were half eaten and the dogs and cats in the house was fat and happy.

Dont know you guys, but it seems that if anyone was trying to make a point with the hopes of slowing down fishing. it would be a bit more helpful to the cause to debate a consequential problem associated with overfishing like the effects its having on our reefs by shaking up the delacate ballance of marine life on our reefs in some cases leading to an increase of algea over coral. it seems to only change a name of a creature to one simply associated with cute cuddlyness doesnt do much for educating and understanding but only perpetuating ignorance. all im saying is that to simply change a name will doubtfully change peoples behavior and interactions with anything.

Does anybody know what happened to the two PETA workers who were arrested for killing
dogs and cats back in 2005? They told animal shelters in North Carolina they would take them back to Virginia before to find the animals homes, but then euthanized them instead. Then they dumped the bodies in the same dumpster for four weeks in a row. Another example of "stupid criminals" I hope they got the same sentence that PETA wanted Michael Vick to get. That said he deserved everything he got and more. However I believe PETA defended them. I guess PETA decided they couldn't use there own employees criminal behavior to raise money for themselves.
