Since some will need to rent tanks and if Stacy is unable to help out there we might want to start in the afternoon around 1 or so. This would allow people to get to an open store to get tanks. Otherwise I would say 11ish.

So then, what time is everyone comfortable with? I will need to let Stacy know something before Friday about the time I'll be arriving. I imagine I could just PM everyone my cell number, arrive earlier than the rest, get in, setup, and then meet folks as they arrive. I'm good for any time, but some need to get tanks and the LDSs aren't open 'til 11:00, maybe 1:00 is a good time? I will call Stacy tomorrow and find out if air fills and rentals are available, and post right after that.
8 mo' days! Yeah :D

OK folks, here's what I worked out with LLM:
I will go to the quarry Saturday morning (11:00am) to meet Stacy's friend while she is out of town. I will stick around the gate for everyone until we are all in. We'll go ahead and get the paperwork and fees out of the way and then we are good to dive. The bath-house is not open and Stacy could not get anyone to stay for air fills or rentals. The porta-john is available of course. Stacy is allowing us the use of a cabin for changing privacy and comfort (if needed). She asks that we don't get the furniture wet. We need to be finished with our dives and ready to leave by 5:00pm as her friend will be back at that time to lock the place up. I think if we are all in and ready to dive by no later than 1:30-2:00, we should be able to get a couple of leisurely dives in. If we get in a little earlier, then some who aren't air gluttons like me, could get a little more in. I dive LP77s and I have 2 tanks for myself, and a couple of friends coming with me are planning basically 2 tank dives also. Depending on the weather that day, that may be all I can suffer. :coffee: I hope this OK with everyone?

We will plan on meeting you at 11:30 with gear ready to go for two dives.

Could either of you guys give us a guess as to what the surface and water temp might be next week?

It's been almost 2 months since I've been to LLM. I just checked my log book; last year between Oct. To Mar. it averaged about 60f. I actually had a dive on 11-10-07 and the surface was 66f, the bottom was 62f. If anyone isnt used to these temps, a 7mm may be in order. I dive these temps with a 5mm and it doesn't bother me too much. I did grow up here though and have been swimming the rivers, lakes, and streams for awile.

As of now this trip just turned into a maybe. Got some stuff going on here that may not be taken care of by then. I will keep you all updated. :(
BUMMER, Hope everything goes OK and works out!

If you guys don't mind another local I believe I will be ready to get away for a day.

III do you have any experience with a drysuit? We have a local shop that rents them and I would highly recommend one for the dives. It has been unseasonably cold for a few weeks.

Best,

Sam
