Howdy team,

Thought I'd recycle this thread. I'm new too! I've been qualified for a while but being a student made it difficult to dive frequently. Now being a student has paid off and I'm finally making some $$$ so hopefully will see some other divers from Oz out and about.

Giddy Up!!

Tom

Aussies rule! :D

Tassie is such a beautiful place. I remember a fantastic trip to the Freycinet Peninsula about 3 years ago. How's the diving down there?

Went down the Tasman Penninsula (little bit further down the coast from Freycinet) for a few dives 2 weeks ago. My better half was lucky enough to do her training dives there, I just came along for the ride. Vis about 20m it was awesome compared to the 3m I learn't to dive in. The water was a balmy 11°C but when you are wearing that much neoprene that you cannot bend your joints it doesn't really matter. Some photos are available here. She even got to see a Sea Dragon on here third open water dive, talk about being spoiled rotten ;)

Hopefully we will get to go out from Coles Bay sometime soon!!
