About the pressure switch. I must have misunderstood about the manual override. Thanks.

I don't like the idea of handling a loose whip with high pressure inside but that's just me.

I agree, but that manifold and all 4 fill assemblies, weighs close to 25 lbs. I guess you could call it semi-portable. ;)

I just spoke with Aqua Environment and the 907 is still in production. Since the drain control pressure is only 80-90 psi, I don't know that you need something rated that high. Or is it your intention to replace the unloader with that unit?

Craig

That's what I was thinking. It appears from the Brownie site that the newer units use a similar type of condensate drain as the ones in my link. But, if the 907 is still available, that may be the way to go.

Brownies has moved to mostly transducers and the main electrical control is a frequency drive. Last time I looked their Junior II mod was floating around $15K, which is a good price for the sandbox we play in. Anyway, I have 907's here, but before you go spending money, better make sure the unit is not in need of major overhaul parts.

Get it running to see if it builds pressure and I'll help you as best I can putting the unit back in operating condition.

Great Craig, you too Pesky, both of you have a ton of knowlege and are great to share it. as for the oil is there a type of store that I look at? I don't know where to shop.

Allen

Scuba shops, paintball shops; many of them carry oil. Just go to Nuvair's site or call them and give them a credit card number. Trident's CF 2000 might be OK but it is untraceable, kind of a brand X. Nuvair carries Omnilube 455 for which there is a substantial amount of information available. This oil uses some advanced anti-wear additives and it costs half as much.

First, lets see if it is Delvac or 751. Delvac is usually pretty dark colored like maple syrup and 751 is about the color of wesson oil. They shouldn't look any different coming out of the compressor as they did going in. If water is present they both may look like brown mustard. Only way to find out is to drain it. Either way, if you pay the freight, I'll send you a quart of either (usually enough for two oil changes in that machine).

Craig

Great I will drain it this afternoon, the oil on the dipstick is light in color like cooking oil. I have an un-used 220 outlet that I will hard wire the unit to. The plug on it right now is a 3 prong household dryer plug so I am going to assume that is is not wired right in the box for the other switches and he was just using it for the motor, when I open the control box Ill take a pic and upload it. Brownie got back to me and pointed me to the manual for the curent YP25/35
Yacht Pro Automated Compressors Light Duty
so as far as the elect. it wont help much. Also some one asked about the crank bieng held on with a bolt or a clip, it is bolted on.

Allen

Whoa! 3 prong plug? Me thinks it might be wired for 120V. We did have a few, rare 3HP motors specially produced that were 120V. If that is the case (we need to open the control box and get me a pic of the contactor), you'll need a special service of 120V, 30 amp to run it.

Craig

yep I have not opend that up yet, my understanding is that he wired this one up for this motor and it is 220v but we shall see, all the info I have gotten about it from the prev owner is second hand.
