Hola, Scubaboardians, anybody doing a New Years' Day Dive, or diving at midnight to see the New Year in underwater?

My plans are for either Wiarton at Georgian Bay, Lake Huron or Toronto at Humber Bay, Lake Ontario, depending on the road and snow conditions.

Likely better viz at Wiarton....

I'm thinking Lock 21, near Cornwall Ontario

As a last-of-the-year dive, I went, with my diving club, to the Rockport wall in Ontario. it was cold, especially in wet suit.

As a first-of-the-year dive, we planned to return in Ontario next week-end.

Thanks to this thread I have had an epiphany; night scooter dive under the fireworks barge! Not sure if there's a show off the resorts this year, private functions don't really advertise. If the rumors that there is a show are correct I will endeavor to report back about the experience. :D

hey, Halemano: cool dive idea!

Lock 21, Rockport wall, keep 'em coming!

No getting wet, I'm still grounded! :(:(:(

In my bathtub.

Gilboa Quarry near Findlay Ohio is the plan as long as the roads are passable. Supposed to have 4-6 inches of snow and 40mph wind gusts. Not for the faint of heart that's for sure LOL!
