Is a “conversation” or “chat” the same thing as a PM. I’d like to send another member a PM, but I can’t figure out how to. Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes. I just tap the member name and “Start a Conversation” button right below the name.

Note the guide says you have to make ten posts to start a conversation. Post number one...

I have now made my ten posts (all legitimate and not spam), but still do not have the option to send direct messages. Does anyone know how long this will take to appear?

It is now set to 25 posts due to scammer events over the past couple of years and posts will be reviewed by the mods and may be deleted if they do not qualify as posts putting value into the thread conversations e.g. "welcome to ScubaBoard" by a new member.
