Replacing the Apeks RK3 spring heel straps

Hi,

My gf has a really hard time taking off the rk3's. She want's to replace the heel straps with some spring straps that have a loop hole. Anyone know if there are any available that works on the rk3? Thank you

The rubber tab on the RK3 is designed so that the center (The Apeks logo) can be cut out to create a loop for your fingers.

I put Hollis pull tabs on all my fins, regardless of what they came with, very robust and big enough to use with dry gloves.

Hello buddhasummer - where to you purchase the Hollis pull tabs? I can't find them outside of purchasing the entire spring strap assembly. My RK3 pulls are essentially nubs, due to age and cracking. The Hollis look much more robust. Thank you.

I took them off Hollis fins I owned and swapped them over with other fins I had prior to selling the Hollis fins. Never seen them as a separate item.

Yes, I find them significantly more "useable" and robust.

I have some 4th element Tec fins, the pull tabs are pretty good. I'm almost positive you can buy them as a separate item.

for some reason the spring where killing me i swap it for regular fine strap. work like a charm. easy on and off.

SPRING STRAP = COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY
