I finally acquired a pair of XL Scubapro Jet Fins (I couldn't fit the large over my drysuit boots). In addition I also have a pair of the springs to use for heel straps ala the "Make Your Own Spring Heel Straps" page (http://www.cisatlantic.com/trimix/fins/sprstrps.htm). I was wondering what the best method of attaching the springs to the fins would be with strength and simplicity acting as the guiding factors. Any input would be appreciated.

You are going to have to remove the exsisting hardware and with two pairs of plyers or vice grips bend the ends of the SS to open them, then put them into the holes and bend back.
