Actually that was the 2008 Silver Springs show we did for the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Sea Hunt TV show (1958-1961). We did a second show in 2011. The swim cap worn by the lady farthest from the camera was a bit controversial. However, one of the requirements to be in the cast of the show was to have dive gear/apparel that was documented to be seen in any episode of the TV show. To use a piece of gear not as easily recognized as Sea Hunt, you had to prove its existence by noting its appearance in a particular episode. Two of the "authorities" that were used in determination was Sea Hunt Jerry from Minnesota and Alec Perice from Toronto, owner of Scuba 2000 and one of the main speakers at the annual Legends of Diving, held each year at Portage Quarry, OH, the 2nd weekend of August. Many of the 2008 and 2011 cast and crew of the Silver Springs Sea Hunt recreations attend the Portage Quarry event.Just for the record, the B&W photo above was taken May 2011...good friends of mine.
1. Two guys wrestling underwater in identical wet suits confuses the audience as to who is doing what to whom.
