The :current" model has a battery thats lasts 45 minutes or so, people say that is more or less accurate. Lafeet has been around for a long time. They are sold in many dive shops.I quite interested but I'm not sure about the battery life. I don't believe in 60/90 minutes
I'm going to call this out
Max speed is not 2.3m/s ! Definitly. It's been pointed out to me that my maths was slightly wrong in my post above regarding the battery run times for the Lefeet.
The mistake was that
Max Speed 2.3m/s = 1000w
160/1000 = 16 minutes run time <-- this is actually 0.16hours, not minutes and therefore needs to be x 60 to get minutes.
The corrected run times are:
Max Speed 2.3m/s = 1000w
160/1000 = (16*60) = 9.6 minutes run time
50% speed 1.15m/s = 500w
160/500 = (32*60) = 19.2 minutes run time
25% Speed 0.57m/s = 250w
160/250 = (64*60) = 38.4 minutes run time
12.5% speed 0.28m/s = 125w
160/125 = (128*60) = 75 minutes run time
Therefore the typical runtime will be around 20 minutes
And it could maybe do around a total of 0.78 miles (1.26Km) in total distance.
So it's actually far worse!
